To reduce the airflow, you can manually manipulate these black blades using either your hand or an appropriate tool. Restoring the diffuser to its open position is also a simple task. You can use any flat, firm tool like a plastic spatula or knife. Just insert the tool between the black blade and the diffuser's white face, then exert pressure towards the center. For more precise airflow direction, adjust one blade to an open position and the other to a closed position within the same slot.
