Is there an air filter housing behind this grille/vent cover?

I am looking at the 30x20 size for the main duct going to the heat pump. I assume there is a space behind it for a standard 30x20 filter, yes? How difficult or what is the procedure for changing the air filter, and if I do that monthly, how will your product hold up over time?

Greetings! We appreciate your interest in our Texas Buildmart's 30x20 Modern AC Vent Cover. This model has a depth of 1-3/4". However, it doesn't contain a designated space to house a filter. If you wish to add a filter, it will require unscrewing 4 screws each time for removal. Despite this, many customers successfully use this model as a non-filter return.
